COOKIE POLICY

Cookie Policy

This page lists every cookie this website actually uses, what each one is for, how long it is kept, and how you can change your settings.

Last updated 23 August 2026 This document takes effect from publication; where it is revised, the date shown on this page applies.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a short piece of text that a website stores in your browser to record a particular state. For example, once you switch this website to another language, your next visit stays in that language, and it is a cookie that records the preference.

2. Necessary cookies (always on)

Every one of the following is necessary either for the website to work or to retain your preference, and none can be turned off individually.

wb_locale (kept for 365 days)
Remembers the display language you chose, so that your next visit opens directly in the same language.
wb_consent (kept for 180 days)
Remembers the choice you made in the cookie consent panel, so that you are not asked again on every visit. Its value is only "granted" or "denied" and contains no personal data.
Session cookie (expires when the browser closes or the session times out)
Maintains your connection state during this visit. It is also required to submit the contact form; without it the form cannot pass its security check.
XSRF-TOKEN (expires with the session)
A security cookie that prevents the form being submitted from another website on your behalf. It contains no personal data.
appearance and sidebar_state (kept for about one year)
Remember the interface preferences of the management back office, meaning light or dark mode and whether the sidebar is expanded. Only internal staff who log in to the back office use these; an ordinary visitor never generates them.

3. Cookies we do not use

This website uses no advertising cookies and no remarketing tags, and it does not provide your browsing history to any advertising network. The only third-party cookies are those listed under "Traffic analytics cookies" below, and they are written only after you have explicitly consented.

4. How to manage cookies

You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The path differs slightly between browsers but is usually found under "Privacy and security" in the settings.

Analytics cookies require no change to your browser settings: every page of this website has "Cookie settings" in the footer, where you can change your choice at any time. If you change it to declining, we stop loading the analytics code immediately and clear the related cookies already written.

One point to note: apart from analytics cookies, all of them are necessary. You can still browse the website after blocking everything at browser level, but your language choice and your consent setting will not be retained, and the contact form will fail its security check and cannot be submitted.

Appendix: traffic analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4)

Only after you choose to accept analytics cookies in the cookie consent panel does this website load Google Analytics 4 and allow it to write the cookies below. Before consent is obtained, the website sends no request to Google and writes none of these cookies.

You may withdraw your consent at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer. Once it is withdrawn, the website stops loading the analytics code immediately and clears the cookies listed above.

_ga (kept for 2 years)
Written by Google Analytics 4. Its value is a randomly generated identifier used to distinguish one browser from another, which is the basis for counting unique visitors. It contains nothing that directly identifies a person, such as a name or email address.
_ga_<data stream ID> (kept for 2 years)
Also written by Google Analytics 4, used to maintain session state and to determine when a single visit starts and ends and how many visits have been made. The suffix corresponds to this website's GA4 data stream ID.
