PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

This policy sets out what this website actually collects, how the data is used, how long it is kept, and what you can require of us. It describes only the practices we actually follow.

Last updated 23 August 2026 This document takes effect from publication; where it is revised, the date shown on this page applies.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the official website of Will-Be Digital Studio Co., Ltd. It applies when you browse this website or contact us through the contact form on it.

This policy does not apply to: (1) systems or apps that we developed for a client but that the client operates itself, for which the privacy policy is set by that client; or (2) third-party services linked from this website, such as Google Maps and LINE, which are governed by their own privacy policies.

2. What personal data we collect

This website has no member registration and does not ask you to create an account. The contact form is the only channel through which personal data is collected.

Fields you fill in yourself
Name (required), email address (required) and your enquiry (required), together with phone number, company name and the service you are asking about (all three optional). The form has no other fields.
Information the system records when the form is submitted
Your IP address, browser identification string (user agent), the address of the page you were on when you submitted, and the interface language in use at the time. This information is used to identify abuse and to establish where a message came from. It is not used to analyse your individual behaviour.
Cookies
Cookies remember the display language you chose and your cookie consent, along with the session cookies necessary to keep the website working and the form secure. The full list is in the cookie policy.
Traffic analytics data (only after you have consented)
Which pages you visited, how long you stayed, which source you arrived from, and your browser and device category, together with a random identifier generated by a cookie that distinguishes one browser from another. This data is used only for aggregate statistics. It is not used to identify you and is not cross-referenced with the contents of the contact form.

3. Purpose of collection and how the data is used

We collect this data for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and follow up with you. Once the form is submitted, the system sends the content to the notification mailboxes configured internally and sends a confirmation email to the address you entered. The content is also stored in our back office so that the person handling it can track its status.

We do not sell, rent or provide your data to third parties for marketing purposes, and we do not add you to any newsletter or marketing list without your consent.

4. Period, territory, recipients and method of use

Period
Limited to the period necessary to answer your enquiry and follow up with you, after which the data is deleted from our systems. The actual period depends on whether the enquiry proceeds to an engagement. You may also ask us to delete it earlier at any time.
Territory
Within the Republic of China (Taiwan), and the locations of this website's hosting and email services.
Recipients
Our own staff handling the enquiry, and the service providers necessary for sending email and running the website (email delivery and hosting). A processor acting on our behalf may process the data only within the scope of our instructions and for no other purpose. If you would like the names of the individual providers, you may request them using the contact details on this page.
Method
Held in electronic form within this company's systems, open only to authorised personnel who have logged in.
Outsourced processing: traffic analytics
Traffic statistics are processed by Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, and the processing may take place outside the Republic of China (Taiwan). We obtain only aggregated statistical reports, and the service is governed by Google's own privacy policy. See the traffic analytics appendix at the end of this page.

5. Rights you may exercise

Under Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Act, you may exercise the following rights in respect of the personal information we hold about you. Please contact us using the details at the end of this page; we will act within the statutory time limit once your identity is confirmed. A necessary cost fee may be charged for making an inquiry, reviewing the data or making duplications.

To discontinue collection, processing or use of the personal information

6. Effect of not providing personal data

Filling in the contact form is entirely voluntary. If the three required fields, meaning name, email address and your enquiry, are left blank, the form cannot be submitted and we have no way to answer you. You can still reach us by email or on LINE instead.

7. Data security

This website transmits data over an encrypted connection. The back office is open only to authorised personnel signing in with a password, sensitive actions such as changing a password require the password to be confirmed again, and sign-in attempts are rate limited. The contact form is additionally protected by submission rate limits and a hidden field to block automated programs, without captchas that require recognising images.

We protect your data with reasonable technical and organisational measures, but transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. Should personal data be disclosed, we will give notice as required by law and explain how the matter is being handled.

8. Revisions to this policy

This policy may be revised as laws change or our services change. The revised version is published directly on this page and takes effect from publication. We suggest checking the update date shown on this page before using the contact form.

Appendix: website traffic analysis (Google Analytics 4)

Only after you choose to accept analytics cookies in the cookie consent panel does this website load Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC), which measures page views, traffic sources and device categories as a basis for improving the content and structure of the website. Before consent is obtained, we send no request to Google and write no related cookies.

What we obtain from GA4 is aggregated statistical reports, which contain nothing that directly identifies you. Google obtains your IP address during its processing in order to determine an approximate location; GA4 does not retain the original IP address. This data may be processed outside the Republic of China (Taiwan) and is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

You may withdraw your consent at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer of this website. Once it is withdrawn we stop loading GA4 immediately and clear the related cookies already written. The name and retention period of each cookie are set out in the cookie policy.
