Mobile App Development

Put your service on the screen your customers already open every day.

Services included

App LIFF LINE Bot Member

Mobile work extends your service onto your customers' phones. We build iOS and Android apps, LINE LIFF and LINE Bot, and we advise based on how the service will actually be used: for booking and lookup that people use only occasionally, LINE LIFF usually costs less in total than an app; a native app is worth building when you need push notifications, offline use, or device features such as the camera and location.

WHO IT IS FOR

When this applies

These are the situations we see most often in the work we take on. If one of them matches where you are, it is usually a good time to talk.

“Booking and status checks still happen over the phone”

Slot confirmations, progress checks and repair requests all come by phone. At peak hours no one can pick up, and nothing leaves a record you can follow.

“Customers will not download an app they rarely use”

The function is simple and used only now and then, yet the download and sign-up steps make most people give up halfway.

“You need segmented messages, not one blast to everyone”

Reminders and campaign messages should go out by membership status or order status, rather than everyone receiving the same thing.

“The LINE Official Account only has manual replies, and no one covers after hours”

The same questions get answered again and again, the rich menu gives no direction, and order updates are sent out one by one by hand.

WHAT WE DO

What this service covers

App

App Development

A native iOS and Android experience, with push notifications, offline use and device features.

LIFF

LINE LIFF

A web app that opens inside LINE, with no download and no separate sign-up.

LINE Bot

LINE Bot

Automatic replies, rich menu navigation and order status notifications on your LINE Official Account.

Member

Member Linking and Push Notifications

Link existing member records, and send reminders and campaign messages to specific segments.

SCOPE & TIMELINE

Project size and schedule

Settle the scale first, then the details. The actual scope and quote always follow the requirements interview and the agreed function list; we do not sell fixed packages.

LINE LIFF and LINE Bot

What it covers

Opens inside LINE with no download and no separate sign-up, which suits lower-frequency flows such as booking, status checks and repair requests, and can link existing member records for segmented messaging. Requires a LINE Official Account in your name (registration is free; we help with setup and verification).

Schedule

The schedule depends on how many steps the flow has and which existing systems need integrating; it is set out when the function list is confirmed

How it is priced

Priced by the number of steps in the flow, the systems to integrate and whether existing member records are linked; a formal quote follows the requirements interview

Native app (iOS / Android)

What it covers

Worth the investment when you need push notifications, offline use, or device features such as the camera and location, and users will open it every day. Requires Apple and Google developer accounts in your name plus a privacy policy page; we handle submission and version updates, and Apple review usually takes several working days.

Schedule

The schedule depends on how many stores you publish to and how wide the feature set is; it is set out when the specification is confirmed, with review time counted separately

How it is priced

Priced by the number of platforms, the feature set and whether an admin panel is built alongside; a formal quote follows once the specification is confirmed

The schedule and pricing notes on this page are for planning purposes. The formal quote is issued in writing, based on the scope agreed in the requirements interview.

WHEN NOT TO BUILD

If a build is not warranted, we say so

Not every request is worth building. In the situations below we will suggest holding off, or handling it a less expensive way, and explain why.

Low usage does not call for an app
For lower-frequency functions such as booking, status checks and repair requests, LIFF needs no download and no sign-up, and costs less to build and to promote than an app. We advise based on how the service will be used; we do not recommend an app by default.
Keep the developer accounts in your name
We recommend that you hold the Apple and Google developer accounts and the LINE Official Account yourself, so ownership of the app and the accounts stays with you rather than being registered to us.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need a LINE Official Account first?

Yes. Both LINE LIFF and LINE Bot must be tied to your own LINE Official Account. Registration is free and we can help with setup and verification; push messages are billed by LINE according to its plan tiers, and you pay only for messages beyond the free allowance. The account stays in your name, not ours.

Should we build an app or a LINE LIFF?

For services with a simple flow that people use only occasionally, start with LINE LIFF. For lower-frequency functions such as booking, status checks and repair requests, LIFF needs no download and no sign-up, and costs less to build and to promote than an app. A native app earns its place when you need push notifications, offline use, camera or location features, or when users will open it every day. We advise based on how the service will be used; we do not recommend an app by default.

What do we need to publish an app?

Apple and Google developer accounts in your name, plus a privacy policy page. The Apple developer account is billed annually and Google Play charges a one-time fee; we recommend you hold both, so the app belongs to you. We handle submission and later version updates, and Apple review usually takes several working days.
