HOW WE STARTED
How we started
Will-Be Digital Studio is based in Kaohsiung. Since our first custom project we have kept meeting the same situation: the process runs every day, but no system keeps up with it, and off-the-shelf software asks the process to bend to it instead. From then on the order of work settled — understand the process first, then decide what is worth building and what is not, and stay responsible after the system goes live. What really governs how we take on work, how we quote and how we deliver comes down to the three points below.
Three principles
Process first, features second
Requirement interviews start from how the work is actually done today, not from a feature list. You do not need to prepare a specification in advance — open the forms or the Excel file you use now and show us; that usually says more than any document.
We tell you plainly what does not need building
Not every part of a process is worth building. For features people rarely open, we suggest starting with LINE LIFF; where your current equipment still copes, we say keep it; where a step is a poor fit for AI, we say so and leave it alone. Ruling out what you do not need is what makes the rest of the budget land accurately.
After delivery, the team is still there
Consultation, design, development and post-launch maintenance are handled by one team with no handover in between, so later changes and extensions never start with someone relearning your system. Maintenance scope, response times and how each is billed are written out item by item, not waved through with the phrase "lifetime support".
